The Nobody had the two pieces of the fallen star inside each of his pockets.

He stood and looked around to see if the cactus had returned, but it never did. So, to spare himself another moment of sadness, he went to his castle home.

Instead of going straight to his room, as he usually did, he went outside, hoping for a real star that wasn't falling to be in the sky.

When he looked up with excited eyes, he only saw the pale light reflecting off of Kingdom Hearts.

He sat on the steps forming on the stairs, only staring at the great heart above him.

"Kingdom Hearts..." Roxas muttered to himself.

"The heart of all hearts..."

More lonely than ever before, the boy only watched the sky. It was wide and spread all throughtout the dark world, and it was a blank color.

He began to ask the heart questions, even though he knew it would not answer.

"Kingdom hearts, how do your pulses feel? What is it that makes you worth it all? Can you understand what love is?"

Roxas continued to ask the enormous moon shaped as a heart the questions that beckoned inside his mind, then, finally, the red head came out.

"Roxas?" Axel asked, taking a seat next to him. "You talking to yourself?"

"Axel!" Roxas exclaimed, startled by his sudden appearance.

"No..."

"Haha, finally got out of that suspension," Axel remarked, smirking. "What have you been up to?"

Roxas only shook his head. "Nothing," he said simply.

"Nice," Axel said, then muttered, not meant to be heard, "What would you do without me?"

Roxas managed a laugh, a laugh forced and short. "I heard that," he said.

"I know," The red head replied, smiling. "Let's go get some ice-cream," he said, standing up.

Roxas nodded. "Go ahead, I'll catch up."

Axel shrugged, entering a corridor. "I'll be at the usual spot. You know, where the sun  sets red?" he smiled, warmly for once, then vanished.

Roxas continued speaking to Kingdom Hearts.

"I know this is gonna sound impossible..." Roxas said, his eyes
widening as he spoke the word impossible.

"But, kingdom hearts... Will you share a fallen star with me? Will you share a paopu fruit with me?"

The moon shimmered in a bright glow.

"You're a heart," Roxas said, speaking slowly. "A heart made up of many other hearts. So if I could share a paopu with you, I'd be sharing a paopu with everyone. I'll be entertwined with everyone, and I won't have to worry about being alone again. Since there's so many hearts in you, I think they could all spare at least one pulse for me. Then, my empty heart would beat forever, and I will always love."

Roxas closed his eyes, and he smiled.

"Kingdom Hearts," he said, in quite a thoughtful manner of speaking.

"I'll find you more hearts, so that those who lost them can be enterwined with my destiny. I remember a Nobody telling me that when someone loses their heart, they are alone in darkness and scared. I know what that's like...so if they're connected to me, I can be there to help them see past it."

"Then, we can share this fallen star, Kingdom Hearts."
